Tuesday 13th

Springhill in Accrington

We received this outstanding review on carehome.co.uk! A massive well done to the incredible staff team ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
ย
“My husband was admitted to Springhill Care Home in April. He has Alzheimer’s and had previously been violent at home and in a previous care home but from the first week, he had settled in well and has not been violent or asked to go home. All due to the care and compassion from the carers.
ย
The home is clean, never smells and is very open and bright. Some places could do with a lick of paint but on the whole fine. My husband is treated with dignity and respect and as far as I can see that is the same for other residents too.
ย
The home seems well run if at times short on staff but not detrimental to the care given. The staff on reception are very friendly and helpful.
The entertainment team are brilliant but have noticed not supported enough for whatever reason by residents’ relatives.
ย
I feel so blessed that I have found a place where my husband is safe and cared for in the best possible manner. I also feel that I am supported by the staff as wellโ€

Peaker Park in Market Harborough

We received this outstanding review on carehome.co.uk! A massive well done to the incredible staff team ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
ย
“My dad stayed at Peaker Park from May 2022 until December 2022. We weren’t sure what to expect, he had severe dementia and we had zero experience of care homes.
ย
What we found was that the care he got was outstanding, great facilities but most importantly brilliant staff, all of who genuinely cared for dad and all of us throughout his time there. We stayed in his room during his last days and hours so saw more of the workings of the care home, for example, we ate the same food as the residents and we were also cared for whilst they cared for my dad during his final days.
ย
As I say, great facilities but best of all packed full of incredible, caring staff in my experience.โ€

“My mum moved into Spring Hill two months ago, they made her very welcome with all the staff visiting her to introduce themselves as she arrived to make her feel at home as she was a little nervous about coming here from hospital.
ย
Every time I visit my mother its lovely to see how this has continued with every level of staff from housekeeping, catering, maintenance, laundry, activities teams and the nurses really help my mums day stay positive by bobbing in out of her room having a chat, a little banter and always offering the extra help.
ย
This has made such a difference to our family knowing that in between our visits she has so many people that care for her. I feel like I can relax at home knowing she is in safe hands!โ€
