Chamberlaine Court in Bedworth
Our Residents were up bright and early, ready to go to a local Cafe for a Full English Breakfast. After breakfast, they went on a bus trip around the local area and it brought back lots of different memories for all the residents. They come back to the home with big smiles on their faces. Brian, the manager here at Oakdene, brought in his dog Poppit for all the residents to meet. They just loved the chance to get some cuddles with Poppit and cannot wait for a chance to do it again!Riversway in Bristol
Wilfred and Pat celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on Sunday. We arrange afternoon tea and cakes for their special day. Wilfred wrote his card out himself for his lovely wife Pat. We got a nice box of flowers for her as a gift from WilfredWe had the beautiful Shannon back in the home!
She sang lots of old favourites that everybody enjoyed singing along to.
Bridget even had a dance.
We enjoyed refreshments of tea and cakes.
Everybody said they’d had a lovely afternoon.
Beechlands in Leicester
Karen has recycled bottles and paper roll tubes to create some Bunnies ready for Easter. We think this was a brilliant idea. Karen enjoyed every minute of making her creations.Wednesday 8th

We had an afternoon with lots of fun in arts and crafts. We used balloons and rubber gloves to make flower effects on our canvases, which we think turned out very well! Everyone thinks they will look beautiful hung up in their rooms.Oakdene in Mansfield

We had a lovely afternoon out at The Diamond Club with two of our residents.
We got to see some live music and enjoyed some drinks.
They both said they had a wonderful evening.
Thursday 9th
Sandybrook House in Lower Darwen
The team took part in making some Rainbows 🌈 and also some fire warden training earlier this week. We would like to say a big thank you to Alan for the training, the team feel much more confident in their skills and how to support the home in the case of an emergency.Brockshill Woodlands in Leicester
Our residents enjoyed a carrot and fork painting session to create some wonderful flowers!

We took the sensory trolly around for hand massage in the residence rooms. We had the big iPad to play relaxation music, whilst having their hands massaged. David, Hazel and Maria said it was a very relaxing hand massage.Beechlands and Stoneygate Road in Leicester
We were joined by residents from Stoneygate Road for a lovely trip out to Cropston Reservoir in Bradgate Park. It was a lovely walk in a winter wonderland! After we enjoyed some food at Gynsills Farm, everyone really loved the food and the company. It was such an amazing day.Friday 10th
