Monday 6th
Riversway in Bristol
We made Jubilee flags and table decorations for our party last Saturday.
We had lots of fun singing and enjoying each other’s company.
We had some of our resident’s lovely families join in with our activities, it was so nice to have them back joining in with us.
We had a surprise visit from The Queen at Riversway.
We had lots of lovely photos with her majesty and lots of smiles!
We had our Queen’s Jubilee party on Saturday!
It was lovely to have families back to celebrate with their loved ones. Andy T was also back and we all had a brilliant time singing lots of old songs whilst enjoying an ice cream.
We had decorated Riversway with lots of red white and blue flags and bunting for the occasion and we had some delicious food on our buffet.
Everyone had an amazing day, they said it’s one to remember. Even the Queen joined us!
Oakdene in Mansfield

Everyone gathered to make sure they could get a snap with her majesty! It was such a good laugh!
Loran House in Hull
We got busy getting the home ready for our Jubliee Celebrations!
Everyone thinks the home looks lovely.
Clarence House and The Netherlands in Horncastle
We join the rest of the town in the Horncastle Jubilee Parade.
Everyone had some creative outfits to fit the theme of “Best of British.”
It was a very fun day, one to remember!
Meadow View in Alcester
We had a wonderful Jubilee celebration.
We had some good food, some silly costumes and a flyover leaving trails of red white and blue.
We all had such a lovely day celebrating the Queen and spending time together.
Tuesday 7th
Clarence House and The Netherlands in Horncastle
We joined up with the Netherlands to celebrate the Queen’s Jubliee with our own little party.
We had a good spread of food, some music and lots of chit chats. It was a lovely evening.
Riversway in Bristol
Marlo the Dog has been back to visit us again!
We all love him so much, he is such good company.
Lots of residents asked if we could leave him with them for the afternoon.
We started our Jubilee celebrations by making this special Jubilee Cheesecake!
And let us tell you, it tastes as good as it looks.
We sang lots of songs related to the jubilee whilst we worked.
Everyone loved their flag and hats, as you can see we had lots of fun!

We all got together and had a nice party in the home to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee!
Everyone had such a wonderful day, with good food, stories and laughter shared between us all.
Chestnut House in Marton
We had a wonderful Jubliee weekend, with a lovely party in the home.
We decorated the home for the occasion and even had some silly queen masks for everyone to wear, it was a good laugh.
Stoneygate Oaklands in Leicester
We had such a wonderful weekend for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee!
Everyone had a brilliant time together, sharing stories about the Queen.
Wednesday 8th
Clarence House and The Netherlands in Horncastle
For the Jubliee we decorated the outside of the home to make it look extra special!
We all love how it looked!
Riversway in Bristol
June celebrated her 85th birthday on the 1st of June.
She loved how we decorated her room with banners and balloons and really loved the chocolates and card we gave her.
She had her family in for tea and cakes in the activity room.
June washed up the dishes saying “it’s the least I can do after the lovely party you have done for me.”
Eileen celebrated her 95th birthday on 1st June.
She loved her chocolates and card from them all at Riversway.
To celebrate the day, we decorated her room with banners and balloons.
She had lots of beautiful gifts from her family.
Loran House in Hull
Norma and Mavis enjoyed a lovely trip out.
They had their nails done, dinner and drinks and a view around some Jubilee celebration artwork in Hull centre.
They had a great time with Katie and Julie, big thank you to you both for taking them.
Oakdene in Mansfield
To end the day of our wonderful Jubilee celebrations, we hosted a silent disco.
Everyone had a wonderful time, dancing and singalong to some of their favourite tunes, that only they could hear.
Thursday 9th
Riversway in Bristol
We had some beautiful deer in our activity garden.
We are so lucky to have such amazing wildlife on our doorstep!
Rita celebrated her 88th birthday on the 5th of June.
We decorated her room for the big day with balloons and banners and she loved her card and chocolates from everyone at Riversway.
Mill House in Fakenham
A massive well done to the whole team on retaining a 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating!
This is a huge achievement, you should all be so proud of the result!

The staff designed our own shirts to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee!
We think that we all made some amazing designs!
Friday 10th
Sandybrook House in Lower Darwen
A massive well done to the whole team on retaining a 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating!

Saturday 11th
Riversway in Bristol
Our very first crop of Riversway Strawberries!
They tasted delicious from our little garden.
We feel very proud of what we have watched grow.

Sunday 12th
Oakdene in Mansfield
We took a small one to one trip out to enjoy one of our favourite little treats.
Riversway in Bristol
We held a church service for both floors!
First one in the morning and another in the afternoon to ensure everyone got to take part.
We enjoyed a slice of cake with a cuppa whilst we sang lots of our favourite hymns.
Everyone said they enjoyed the service.
