Victoria enjoyed a trip over to the shops! We saw a few boats on the river from the bridge and Victoria enjoyed the fresh air whilst getting herself some treats in the local Coop.Cherry Tree Lodge in Lincoln
Our amazing staff and their brilliant families took part in the Pretty Muddy Race for Life on Saturday, raising an amazing £3500 for cancer research! They all did amazing in completing the 5k course in just over an hour and a half! Well done everyone, we are so proud of you all!Tuesday 10th

Pam and Alison took a couple of the residents out shopping, followed by a bite to eat and a drink. A passer-by said it was nice to see people smiling when they are out!Oakdene in Mansfield
We had lots of fun with a chocolate fountain! We cut up our fruit and took it in turns to dip in our skewers into the chocolate. We had lots of chats about our favourite fruits!The Fieldings in Sutton-in-Ashfield
We took a lovely trip to Whitby. The sun was shining, the sights were brilliant and we even got to see an old fashioned sailboat out in the water. Everyone had such a wonderful day!Thursday 12th

We held our very own mini-May fair at the home, with plenty of fair games including, ring toss, hook a duck, can knockdown and some “pie face” Everyone had a brilliant time, even if there was a little bit of cheating going on with the pie face!Oakdene in Mansfield

We enjoyed the ice cream bar we created. We handed out some ice creams to some of our residents who chose their toppings and enjoyed some ice cream Sundays in the garden. Everyone was pleased as the weather was warm so a perfect day for the trolly visitStoneygate Road in Leicester

David helped us to arrange the beautiful flowers we had from the Coop. We cut the flowers and arranged them into vases to give out, we had lots of happy smiling faces!Oakdene in Mansfield

It’s tradition to open a May Day Fair with a May Queen, so we found our own! She was so honoured to open the day for us!Saturday 14th

We had a little bit of fun and made some bird feeders to put out in our garden.Riversway in Bristol
We made our own biscoff and caramel ice cream.
We also tasted a raspberry ripple ice cream in an oyster waffle that we had made earlier that day.
Everyone enjoyed mixing, whipping, and crunching up the ingredients.
We spoke about our favourite flavoured ice-creams, how times have changed and how there are so many more flavours to choose from these days.
