Meadow View in Alcester

It is always a joy when we hear amazing feedback about one of our homes and the people who work in them. So you can imagine our incredible joy at reading what Jan Simpson-Stern had to say about Meadow View (in Alcester) and their manager Penny Turvey.
Well done Penny to you and your team, your dedication and passion does not go unnoticed!
“I am writing to you as I wanted to express my families gratitude and genuine appreciation to your Manager Penny Turvey and her team at Meadow view.
I believe that my mother is one of your longest residents at the home and I cannot tell you how comforting it is for my family and I to know that our mother is genuinely being looked after so very well and this is down to the true dedication of Penny.
Penny runs your home so well and nothing is every too much trouble for her, she always seems to go the extra mile and I’m sure she does so many more hours than she must be contracted for.
She is absolutely fabulous and always goes above and beyond any of our expectations….in fact I’d go so far to say that she is Meadow View as far as we are concerned and she gives my family total peace of mind knowing that she heads up her team.
She is so very dedicated and I felt I had to write to you to express how delighted we are with her true professionalism and caring approach and I’m absolutely sure that I am not the only family member of a resident, who must feel exactly the same.
We’ll done for employing and keeping such a wonderful and capable lady, who is running and managing your home so well.”

We want to say a massive well done to Alex! Whilst out with some of our residents for a lovely pub lunch. Alex went to the aid of a lady who had begun choking on her meal! Alex put his training into action and dislodged the object the lady was choking on. We called to check on the lady and she is now all ok after the experience! Well done Alex!   Yesterday for burns night we enjoyed a nice relaxing colouring session!
