We handed out some fresh cream and fruit meringues for everyone to enjoy. They all said they were lovely. We also had some soft puddings to offer to our residents who maybe couldn’t have the meringues, so lots of happy faces!Netherlands in Horncastle

We took a lovely trip out for some bowling fun. Everyone always has such a wonderful time and so nice to spend some time together out the home.Little Acres in Nuthall
On Friday our lovely residents decided that they wanted to visit Matlock in Derbyshire. We enjoyed a steady stroll along the river taking in both the views and fresh air before stopping off for our favourite of fish and chips. We all had a fantastic day and made many memories.Wednesday 25th

We had a wonderful afternoon in the home with some of the residents getting ready for the Jubliee. The residents have been painting cutouts of their hands, as will be using them for our Platinum Jubilee decorations.Friday 27th

We have started our Jubilee Celebrations. We made these lovely Pom Poms in Red, White, and Blue! We plan to hang them up when we have our jubilee party. Everyone enjoyed making them and we had lots of chats about the royal family and what the Queen’s Jubilee means.Seacroft in Skegness

We had our church service. We sang lots of beautiful hymns and had refreshments while we spoke about our churches.
We also sang to Lilly and Rosanna in their rooms because they couldn’t make the service, they were very happy!
