Amazing staff and carers, laundry manager, medic, reception and all. Fully informed at all time, quick responses. In a horrible situation, the most reassuring of teams.”

Holmes Court in Leicester
“A huge well done to Holmes Court Leicester for this brilliant review they received on www.carehome.co.uk! ?
“Mum went into Holmes Court at the beginning of lockdown, it was a very distressing time for us all having to let her go. But we needn’t have worried. She is extremely well looked after, all of the staff do a magnificent job. She always looks clean and well presented, eats very well, is treated with respect and is safe. Mum seems happy in her own little world. The staff have done a tremendous job of keeping Covid out of Holmes Court whilst still allowing visits in a specially built pod in the grounds of the home. It’s never too much trouble to have contact with mum through WhatsApp either. The staff keeps in contact with us to let us know what’s going on either by phone or email. We can’t, as a family, thank everyone enough for what they do and how well they take care of our mum.”
Dave Marson, part of the Quality Matters Team
“Primelife is supporting the Governments vaccination programme.
Dave, Quality Matters Advisor with Prime Life, had his 2nd vaccine recently and wanted to share his thoughts!
“Having my first vaccine I was anxious, as I have a phobia of needles. I went onto the CoronaBee game, alongside asking Kieren [Senior Quality Matters Advisor] and Vicki [Workforce Development Manager] for advice after their first doses. I have no symptoms other than a numb arm after the first dose but the 2nd one, nothing at all. The process was well run and organised at the Leicester General Hospital.”
Thanks for sharing Dave!

Meadow View in Alcester had their 2nd COVID-19 vaccinations in March, and wanted to thank Studley Vaccination Center, Dr Mark Hunter, Mauisha Sharma, and Skerry Crummett for administering the 2nd doses to all staff and residents at the home.
Penny, the manager of Meadow View said, “I was given the chance to have my second vaccine through the Studley vaccination centre coming into the home to vaccinate my lovely residents, even though I was booked in over the weekend for my second vaccine. First time round, I was the last to be vaccinated ensuring the staff had the opportunity before myself. I feel very privileged to work in care and have the opportunity before others. The virus is still with us and would recommend everyone to have the vaccine.”
