Monday 8th
Westerlands in Brough
The resident in Brough Lodge had a wonderful afternoon playing some games together.
We played some ring toss and some giant dominos, everyone had so much fun!
Riversway in Bristol
We enjoyed a selection of ice creams during the heat wave, it was just what we needed!
Oakdene in Mansfield
We had a lovely afternoon doing some nice relaxing activities in the home.
Tuesday 9th
Oakdene in Mansfield
We had a lovely trip out to the shop.
We also stopped for a cheeky go on the swings on the way and met some beautiful dogs!
Riversway in Bristol
We had so much fun with our Karaoke machine.
Everyone enjoyed white chocolate strawberries and cool drinks, and we all enjoyed a singalong in the garden to our favourite songs.
Oakdene in Mansfield
Eight of our lovely residents had a wonderful trip out to Skegby Car Boot Sale.
They brought food and drinks, as well as a few treats from the stalls. Such a nice way to spend the morning.
Wednesday 10th
Riversway in Bristol
Bridget enjoyed a lovely pamper with Teresa.
They enjoyed some lovely time together chatting and enjoying tea and cakes whilst Bridget had her nails manicured.
Oakdene in Mansfield
We went out and enjoyed our favourite pass time again, bowling!
We also treated ourselves to a meal after!
As always we had a wonderful time.
Thursday 11th
Oakdene in Mansfield
Football is back, and 2 of our residents got to enjoy the 1st game of the season.
It was a good match, and both said they had a brilliant day with Alex.
Riversway in Bristol
Connie and Barbara have missed each other, so we arranged for them to see each other.
Connie popped up to see Barbara so they could have a nice chat whilst enjoying some tea and cakes together.
Phoenix Park Care Village in Scunthorpe
We held some fire extinguishers training sessions for our staff and other PrimeLife team members to take part.
The session was fantastic and gave us a clear understanding of how to tackle a fire in an emergency.
Friday 12th

Riversway in Bristol
We enjoyed making these beautiful cards to send out for a special occasion.
We had a very relaxed afternoon listening to soft music, enjoying tea and cakes, whilst we chatted.
Everyone said how lovely it was today.
Oakdene in Mansfield
We took a trip out to Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
We saw some wonderful animals, including polar bears, lions, tigers and rhinos.
We also went for a trip on the ancient super-continent known as Pangea and saw some amazing sites such as a T-Rex and the villainous Velociraptors.
Such a wonderful day out!
Saturday 13th
The Fieldings in Sutton-in-Ashfield
We had a lovely outing to Sutton-in-Ashfield for a spot of shopping and a bite to eat!
We all had a wonderful time!
Riversway in Bristol
Grace, Dru and Marlene all enjoyed some one-to-one time in the activity room.
We created a very relaxing atmosphere for them with some soft music, hand massages, latte and cups of tea with cakes and chocolate puddings.
They had lots of fun chatting away with each other and all said they wanted to stay with us after we had finished.
We will definitely be doing this again!

We had a lovely one-to-one session and went out to enjoy a lovely Sunday Dinner!
Sunday 14th
Riversway in Bristol
We enjoyed a lovely church service in the activity room.
It was very intimate but lovely. Everyone recognised the hymns so we all sang along.
After we enjoyed some refreshments.
Oakdene in Mansfield
We had a wonderful afternoon tea together which turned into a karaoke session!
It was so much fun, with lots of different songs and plenty of dancing.
The Netherlands in Horncastle
Everyone has enjoyed a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon at Walled Gardens in Lincolnshire.
We stopped off for refreshments and cake. It was such a nice day and we all loved being out and spending time together.
