We received this outstanding review on carehome.co.uk! A massive well done to the incredible staff team 👏👏

“I visit my wife on a weekly basis and on all my visits, the care that is shown to the residents is excellent. I am treated with respect and my health and care are asked about.

I travel one hour to get to the home, the senior carer always asks if I want a drink. When asked, I can only speak highly of the care my wife is receiving. She is really looked after well at Brough Lodge.”

“Due to dementia, Mum lived with me for 18 months until her needs exceeded my capabilities. I feared that she would miss the love and care I provided when she moved to care home. I could not have been more wrong.

The staff at Meadow View have been amazing allowing Mum to settle in very quickly. Her room is lovely and she had a perm on her second day which was very important to her. Family visitors have been well looked after and we all feel that Mum could not be in a better place.”

“My son went into this care home in April this year. He was extremely distressed and has serious mental health problems. The staff have been amazing with him, and lately, we have seen great improvement in his mental health.

They are so patient with him, and every time I ring up, they always have time for a chat. He seems really settled there, and that gives me peace of mind. I can’t praise them enough; they do a grand job.”

Unfortunately, Mum took a turn for the worse, but the nursing staff took great care of her and kept her pain-free and comfortable. She died peacefully, and the staff were caring right up to the end.”
