Hill Top (part of Phoenix Park in Scunthorpe)

We received this outstanding review on carehome.co.uk! A massive well done to the incredible staff team 👏👏

“My mother was placed at Hilltop Care Centre because she was living with severe dementia. Her room was large and very light, with an ensuite shower and loo. She was very poorly for most of her 2-week stay and on end-of-life care for her second week.

The carers and nurses were so kind and compassionate.

They provided personal care with great skill, patience and immediate attention. There was generally a good number of staff on duty at any one time.

They encouraged and prompted Mum to eat but did not try to force her. When it became impossible for Mum to get out of bed, they tried different types of cups to help Mum drink.

Nurses arranged medicines to control Mum’s pain and agitation and were on hand to administer these as required. But they also respected Mum’s and my wishes for minimal intervention and gave us space and time to just be together.”
