Just before the big day, Lisa and Lisa took Eve to have her nails done as a treat for Christmas! Eva chose the colours herself, and we all enjoyed a lovely latte and cake in Grounded after. Thank you to Bella Victoria for making Eva’s day and fitting us in.

Tuesday 27th

Riversway in Bristol

We had a visit from the Christmas Elf!

He popped around to see the residents.

Wednesday 28th

Stoneygate Road in Leicester

We would just like to say a very big thank you for the amazing Hamper that we received for Christmas from our resident RW family, it’s amazing.

Hawkhurst in Blackburn

Christmas is a time for new beginnings, Friday was the last working day for Sue Parkinson who has retired after 22 years plus service with Primelife. Sue has so many happy memories of her time with us. Sue has no plans to be a stranger she has promised to volunteer and help with fundraising. Thank you for all your years of dedication and hard work, you will be missed!

Christmas morning and our residents awoke to find Santa had been to visit. Of course, everyone was so excited that they dived straight in and opened their gifts! It was such a fun Christmas Morning!

The residents would like to give a huge shout-out to Billie and Leeann who cooked up a storm for Christmas Day Dinner! They absolutely smashed it! Also, a big Thank You to the whole team for giving our residents a lovely Christmas!

Thursday 29th

Christmas Eve and the naughty elves we’re trying hard to sort out all the stockings for the residents!

Leslie enjoyed his trip out to see his friends in Bristol Broadmead. We even bumped into Santa for a selfie!

Chestnut House in Marton

The staff would like to say a massive thank you to Sam for the amazing Christmas dinner they did for everyone! And another big thank you to all the staff for their hard work on Christmas Day, you absolutely smashed it! The residents loved the gingerbread trees the staff brought in to decorate!

We took loads of Christmas Day Selfies! The staff and residents had so much fun celebrating the special day with each other!

THERE BEHIND YOU! Oh No, they not! Oh yes, they are! We love nothing more than a Christmas trip out to a panto! Everyone had so much fun to going see Peter Pan this year!

Riversway in Bristol

Wilfred celebrated his 91st birthday on Christmas Eve. He had lots of lovely gifts and cards from his family. We decorated his room with balloons and banners, and he loved his card and gift from Riversway. Happy Birthday, Wilfred.

We made these pretty painted bottles for Christmas decorations! We enjoyed watching the demo on the iPad first then we got busy with the craft! Everyone enjoyed the Christmas music playing in the background, along with a nice cuppa tea with cakes.

We handed out some mince pies and mulled wine whilst singing some lovely carols along the corridors and popping into rooms. A big thank you to Jan for joining the elves! Everyone really enjoyed our singing.

We had a really fun game of Pass the Parcel on Christmas Day. We are happy to report that everyone played fairly, with no cheating whatsoever!

We welcomed back Andy T with his Christmas special! He sang lots of different Christmas hits, which we all had fun singing along to. They even had a few elves with us!

Brenda celebrated her 88th birthday on Boxing Day. We decorated her room with banners and balloons and arranged a nice afternoon tea for her and her family. She had a lovely afternoon and had lots of lovely gifts! Happy Birthday Brenda
