We made this delicious Halloween chocolate traybake. The first of our Halloween activities! We enjoyed making it but we really enjoyed it eating it!
Tuesday 26th
Glengarriff House in Market Rasen
We’ve had Chris from #movemobility here today. The residents have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and love doing the activities with Chris.
Riversway in Bristol
Wilfred enjoyed playing a little tune on the piano! Well Done, Wilfred, it was wonderful!

We took a trip out to Leeds for a spot of shopping!
Everyone had a brilliant time, picking out some treats and enjoying something yummy as well!
Wednesday 27th
Lutterworth Country House in Lutterworth
It was National Colour Day last Friday and the residents really enjoyed doing some flower arranging to celebrate the day.
We think they came out looking amazing, brilliant work!
Riversway in Bristol
We made one of our favourites! Chocolate Chip Cookies! We forgot how good they had tasted, especially with a cuppa!
Thursday 28th
Beechlands in Leicester
We went on a hunt in the garden for autumn leaves!
After we made our own trees using what we had found.
We happen to think that they look outstanding!
Riversway in Bristol
We welcomed Rosie back to Riversway with her music chair exercise class!
The residents really enjoyed the sensory chair exercise to music. After all that hard work we had refreshments to cool us all down.
Lutterworth Country House in Lutterworth
Today the residents have been celebrating National Chocolate Cupcake Day!
Everyone loved having a delicious chocolate cake, and for those that don’t like chocolate, we made sure we had plenty of different flavours to choose from!
Friday 29th
Westerlands Care Village in East Riding
A huge congratulations to the team at Westerlands Care Village in East Riding on achieving a Very Good (Level 5) on the food hygiene rating!
This is a brilliant improvement, well done team!
Riversway in Bristol
We enjoyed making these fun pumpkin rice crispy cakes ready for Halloween!
We had a nice cuppa and a scone whilst we waited for the cakes to set! We all got to take one away to have later on once they were ready!
It’s Riversway Pumpkin Patch time! We put our coats on and looked in the activity garden at all the different types of pumpkins. We all think the pumpkin patch looks wonderful! After we warmed up with a hot chocolate with marshmallows!

Debbie enjoyed a Teddy Bear Picnic.
She had a lovely cuppa that she shared with everyone at the picnic!
Saturday 30th
Lutterworth Country House
Spooky season is getting into full swing at the home.
The residents have been hard at work getting the decorations ready for the home.
We think they look brilliant!!

We made these beautiful Autumn wreaths and pom pom pumpkins!
We had so much fun making these decorations, and really enjoyed a nice Halloween treat as we did!
We had a very busy day making these delicious chocolate Halloween apples on sticks!
We made lots and David very kindly helped to give them out as little gifts to the residents and staff with Ashleigh, they had fun on their way around popping in to see everyone!

We have been getting into the Halloween spirit with a spot of Pumpkin Carving!
We think the jack-o’-lanterns look amazing, great work team!
Sunday 31st
Beechlands in Leicester
We enjoyed getting messy by carving some amazing looking Jack-O’-Lanterns! We also roasted the seeds as a little afternoon snack!
Riversway in Bristol
We have really loved getting in the Halloween this year!
We made some more of these cute Halloween Pom-poms and enjoyed tea cakes and a bit of ABBA whilst we worked.
Spooky Season continues here as we all enjoyed making this delicious chocolate tart for Halloween!
We played some music while we were busy baking and we all got to choose a song that we wanted to listen to and share with the others.
After all, was said and done, we enjoyed eating the tart!
