Managers from the homes and the Quality Matters Team came together to undertake some training on our newly installed LifeVac system.
The LifeVac system has already saved a life in one of our homes and even though we hope a choking incident doesn’t occur we are confident we have the correct tools to help save lives.

We welcomed back the wonderful Andy T once again. Everyone had a great time in our pretty garden listening to Andy sing some old classics. We had lots of drinks and ice lollies due to the very hot weather and made sure to have our sun hats on and umbrellas up. There was a lovely breeze and it was good to be outside in the fresh air.

We had a fun outdoor exercise session with some hula hooping and badminton. We even got our outdoor bowling set out and had a few rounds. Everyone had a lot of fun and was a brilliant way to get a workout in.

Pub Club is back! We all had a lovely afternoon singing, dancing, enjoying lots of refreshments and, of course, each other’s company! David celebrated his 80th Birthday on 20th July. David loved having the company of his wife Gill and a few friends who visited for a little lunchtime buffet. We decorated the activity room with balloons and banners to celebrate the day. He had lots of lovely gifts from family and friends.

One of our favourite ways to pass the time is with a few board games.
A home favourite is frustration, which really does help us deal with some of that built-up frustration we have.
