We popped in to see Edwin for a little chat and to give him a little treat! He loved his matchmakers and enjoyed a few while he read his morning paper!
Tuesday 23rd
Little Acers in Nuthall
We wore Pj’s for Children in Need and had a visit from Sally and her Animal Interaction Session. All residents got involved, they enjoyed petting and talking about the animals. Sally bought in rabbits, guinea pigs, a hamster, two tortoises one of which was 55 years old and two Madagascar cockroaches.

We had baking with Linda once again! We made these delicious rice crispy chocolate traybakes and enjoyed a slice after, they tasted as good as they looked!

Barons Park in Leicester
Well done to Barons Park in Leicester for receiving this outstanding review on carehome.co.uk! A massive well done to the incredible staff team 👏👏 ” It was my mum’s birthday on 13th November. We asked them to have a party at the home for her. Although we had restricted numbers because of covid the staff made the room special for us with balloons and banners. The staff are always really friendly and accommodating and they do a lovely job looking after my mum. My mum always seems relaxed happy and very settled at Barons Park. Thank you to the manager and all the staff!”

Riversway in Bristol
We were really pleased to invite Connie’s son, Jason, into the home. Jason popped by to play some music and dance with the pom-poms for the residents. The residents had a wonderful afternoon, enjoying some of their favourite hits and the refreshments at halftime.

We welcomed our new hairdresser, Lorraine, to the home and we think she did a wonderful job! All the resident’s new hairdos look lovely!
