Monday 15th
Meadow Vire in Alcester
We had a wonderful afternoon making some chocolate-covered strawberries. We dipped them in some milk chocolate followed by a drizzling of white chocolate.
They tasted amazing as our after-dinner treat.
Riversway in Bristol
We had a fun afternoon with music and nibbles at Pub Club.
Lots of happy smiling faces singing to some old-time favourites, we even had some ice lollies to cool us down.
Oakdene in Mansfield
June and Lynn went out for afternoon tea with Pam and Marlene.
They all had a good old chit-chat and enjoyed some good food.
It was such a lovely afternoon.
Tuesday 16th
Oakdene in Mansfield
During this lovely but hot weather, we enjoyed some ice lollies and drinks!
We definitely recommend it!
Riversway in Bristol
We decided to have some fresh fruit with meringues.
Everyone enjoyed cutting up the fruit and whipping the cream. We listened to different types of music whilst we worked, and everyone got to choose a song.
They tasted lovely with a nice cup of tea, and we all had a fun afternoon.
Netherlands in Horncastle
We wanted to say a huge Happy Birthday to our wonderful lady Joanie.
We had a fun-filled birthday party, overindulged in cake and danced like nobody was watching.
Happy Birthday, Joan, love all your family here at the Netherlands.
Westerlands in East Riding
We had a wonderful afternoon decorating some cupcakes.
Everyone had lots of fun and they tasted great with a cuppa!
Wednesday 17th
Meadow View in Alcester
We had a visit from Creative Mojo, who worked with the residents to create their own design of a Monet portrait.
Everyone had such a wonderful time and we think the final painting is amazing!
Riversway in Bristol
Alan and Joyce enjoyed some one-to-one time in the activity room.
They enjoyed ice cream whilst listening and singing along to some music.
Alan was laughing at our singing, as you can see.
Oakdene in Mansfield
June had a lovely one-one time doing some much-needed shopping therapy.
She got some new shoes and a handbag and after we enjoy a nice cool drink.

Thursday 18th
Oakdene in Mansfield
We have been enjoying some time in the sun!
With a few games and some ice lollies to help us cool down.
Riversway in Bristol
Harry and Linda had some fun in the lounge with the balloon and bats. Harry had some good coordination and enjoyed the game they played together.
Harry celebrated his 76th birthday on 16th August.
We sang happy birthday to him and decorated his room with balloons and banners.
He liked his gift and card from everyone at Riversway!

Friday 19th
Kirklees in Grimsby
We had a wonderful day out at the National Railway Museum in York.
We had a brilliant time looking at some old trains and some new ones.
We particularly liked learning about the Mallard and watching the miniature railway in action.
Riversway in Bristol
John, Ruth, and Victoria enjoyed water painting in the activity room.
We had a lovely chat together about our hobbies whilst we had a nice cold drink.
Oakdene in Mansfield
We had a lovely trip out bowling. Everyone had a wonderful time, and after the session, we followed up with some refreshments.
We also had some fun playing around with some filters.
Saturday 20th
Riversway in Bristol
We had a few games of bingo in the garden. Edward helped Lisa with calling out the numbers.
We enjoyed the fresh air and had ice cream whilst we played, everyone had a fun afternoon together.

Oakdene in Mansfield
We had a nice walk out to Tesco to pick up some needed bits and pieces. It was such a lovely trip out.
Sunday 21st
Riversway in Bristol
We had a very fun afternoon at Riversway enjoying the sunshine.
We had the karaoke out and all had lots of fun singing away, we even had Sally from the office and the carers join in too.
We all enjoyed ice cream and juice in the nice weather after all our singing.
Oakdene in Mansfield
One of our lovely residents wanted to send a postcard to her family.
So we got her one, helped write a wonderful message and went for a walk to send it off. We do hope they enjoy the postcard when it arrives.
