Monday 11th
Meadow View in Alcester
We took a Bus Trip to Burton-on-the-Water, a small village in the Cotswolds.
It is such a lovely place with lots to see and do.
We enjoyed some singing on the way and some fish and chips once we got there.
It was a lovely day out!
Riversway in Bristol
We made our own doughnuts!
Everyone was so pleased as we all love doughnuts. We got hard to work making them whilst listening to music and enjoying each other’s company.
After we enjoyed them with a nice cuppa, they were delicious.
We all had such a fun time!
Oakdene in Mansfield
Tina wanted to go to the local school summer fair, so Jane offered to take her!
Tina said she enjoyed going and that it was nice to get out and enjoy being part of the community.
She also thanked Jane for taking her!
Tuesday 12th
Oakdene in Mansfield
We had a wonderful day out for Armed Forces Day in Mansfield.
There were lots of things to see and do, and plenty of market stalls to tempt us!
Riversway in Bristol
Eva enjoyed a pamper session.
She listened to some Queen who is her favourite and enjoyed a coffee and a cake.
She also had her lunch with Lisa in the activity room, they had a lovely time together.
The Fieldings in Sutton-in-Ashfield
We had a fun game of Pink Wafer Jenga!
The best part is, we get to eat them after!
Wednesday 13th
Riversway in Bristol
Marlo returned for a visit!
He had lots of cuddles and treats whilst he put lots of smiles on everyone’s faces!
He is a beautiful dig and we all love him very much!
Oakdene in Mansfield
We had a wonderful trip out just doing a little bit of shopping.
Some of us just came for the wonder others picked up some treats for themselves. It was just a nice day out.
Thursday 14th

We have been busy with loads of different activities in the home.
Everyone enjoys finding their own way to relax.
Riversway in Bristol
June fancied her hair curled, so Teresa pampered her and did just that!
She had a lovely cup of tea and a cake whilst Teresa worked!
She was really pleased with her hair after.
The Fieldings in Sutton-in-Ashfield
With the lovely weather we have been having we decided to attempt a Lūʻau.
We had Hawaiian music, pineapple, coconut, pineapple juice and coconut milk.
We even set up a paddling pool and a limbo station.
It was a fun afternoon for those that joined in!
Friday 15th
Riversway in Bristol
We had a lovely afternoon making fruit skewers and dipping them into our chocolate fountain.
We listened to lots of different types of music and some of us felt like having a dance. It was so much fun!
Oakdene in Mansfield
It’s so good to see our telephone box in use!
The perfect way for our residents to make a much-needed call, in a somewhat normal fashion! Plus we think it looks pretty cool!
Saturday 16th
Riversway in Bristol
We had a little afternoon tea with some of our residents.
We listened to some Elvis Presley and had a lovely afternoon enjoying each other’s company.
Sunday 17th
Riversway in Bristol
We enjoyed some more chair exercises from Alive.
We had lots of fun and everyone said they enjoyed themselves.
The tea and cakes we enjoyed after the session was well deserved.
