Riversway in Bristol
We had another outing for “Riversway Sweet Shop!”
We gave out some yummy sweets to all the residents to enjoy over the weekend.
There was a huge variety of sweets for them to pick which they enjoyed so much with smiles all around.
Meadow View in Alcester
The residents enjoyed Tie-Dyeing so much that they wanted to give it another go!
We think they look amazing and everyone did such a brilliant job!
Tuesday 17th

We had an afternoon full of flower arranging, there were lots of beautiful flowers for us to choose from.
We turned them into some lovely arrangements that we have put all over our home.
They look wonderful on the dining room tables and Rita thinks they smell amazing.
We also had hot drinks and of course some cakes. Everyone had a lovely time.

Connie, one of our lovely residents, personally wanted to thank them both for being so kind and caring they both have been and for all the help they gave her to settle into Riversway.
We also would like to thank them both for going that extra mile and being so thoughtful to everyone!

A group of us enjoyed our very own little church service!
We sang hymns, Monica kindly read out a poem, and we read Psalm 99 of the new testament.
The group enjoyed chatting about our different churches whilst we enjoyed a nice cuppa and fresh cream scones.

Oakdene in Mansfield
High praise for Oakdene in Mansfield, from Sabrina, a social worker, following a recent visit to a resident of the home!

It was such a lovely afternoon as Diane (a resident) serenaded everyone with some lovely songs!

We popped over to the shops and got a few goodies for John as he needed some batteries for his radio.
He really enjoyed the pasty we brought back for him also!

Oakdene in Mansfield
Two members of staff from The Villas visited Oakdene in Mansfield to assist in the transition of one of their residents into the home.
They were very impressed with the home!

So we got together to make our very own delicious pizzas.
We all got to choose our own topping and they were fantastic!
