The Fieldings in Sutton-in-Ashfield
We had a lovely trip out to the Warsop Festival.
Everyone had a really nice day out looking at arts and crafts and enjoying a wonderful lunch out.
Riversway in Bristol
Milly in our activities team very kindly brought in her little bunny Frank for everyone to meet. She took him around to see some of our residents, and as you can see, they loved him! He received lots of cuddles and pets.
Oakdene in Mansfield
Cinema time! We enjoyed getting together to watch Avatar. Such a brilliant film and a nice way to spend an afternoon again.
Tuesday 23rd
Oakdene in Mansfield
The weather has been so nice, we do try to enjoy the outside as much as possible.
Riversway in Bristol
We had a relaxing afternoon in the activity garden. We listened to some music, had some snacks and ice cream, and we all choose a treat from the Riversway trolly, we hope you like our selfies too.

We had a lovely trip to our local pub for a meal and a pint. Everyone had such a wonderful time.
Wednesday 24th
Fir Close in Louth

“Good evening, I work as a technician for the ambulance service. A few weeks ago I attended your care home twice in one night for 2 different residents. On both occasions, I was greeted by one of your care staff Anna.
Anna was thorough with her handover to staff on both occasions. She had the necessary things ready for our arrival and was able to answer all the questions we had regarding the patient’s condition and history.
This is very rare in a care home setting. She was polite, upbeat and extremely helpful to us as an ambulance crew. But above all else, I was blown away by her genuine care and compassion for the residents. She showed them love and respect to the highest degree and I would be happy to leave any of my family members in the care of Anna. I have met Anna a few times on visits to your care home and she always behaves the same. She is a credit to your company and the care industry as a whole.”

We had another lovely trip out to the local car boot last weekend. Some of us picked up some little goodies, and we got to enjoy a burger as well.

The men of Riversway enjoyed pub club with lots of different games, beers and sports on the TV. We had lots of lovely chats whilst we listened to music of every choice.

We had a lovely trip out for a spot to eat. It was so nice to enjoy the lovely weather, good fun and a bit of chit-chat together.
Thursday 25th
Springhill in Accrington
The seaside came to Springhill! We had lots of sea-side-related fun with all our favourite seaside activities, such as Hook a Duck and Sandcastle Building. Candy floss & Mocktails were a fantastic treat in our Snack Shack Café We wrote postcards to send out to relatives. We also set up some funny Seaside Face-in-hole boards for everyone to have their picture taken with, it was such a good laugh.
Oakdene in Mansfield
Alex put on the Karaoke machine so we could all have a good old singalong. Everyone joined in but only a few liked being on the mic!
Riversway in Bristol
We got very creative at Riversway by making these beautiful little beach canvases. We had lots of beech materials to use, such as shells, sand and rocks. We enjoyed listening to some beech sounds on the big iPad while we had tea and cakes, it was a very relaxed afternoon. Thank you to Lilly’s Daughter, Debra, who kindly joined in to help!

We had a lovely one-on-one session with one of our lovely residents. She just loves some cutting and sticking so we did some arts and crafts together!
Friday 26th
Meadow View in Alcester

Nothing better than a bit of live music in a local pub, and that’s just what one of our lovely residents wanted to do. We had a brilliant one-on-one session enjoying the nightlife and listening to some live music. It was such a fun evening.

Bleddyn enjoyed seeing some of his university friends from a few years back. They had tea and cakes and a lovely catch-up with lots to talk about.

One of our lovely residents popped out to do some shopping at the local shops. It was a lovely walk in the sun!
Saturday 27th
Oakdene in Mansfield
We had a wonderful afternoon with a few rounds of BINGO!!! Our lovely bingo caller Alison did a fantastic job, it was such good fun!
Riversway in Bristol
Riversway beach is back for the summer! We put our feet in the sand and listened to some music that was like the sound of waves, it was very relaxing and cooled us down in the heat. We had lots of cold drinks and ice creams as well.

We had a wonderful time at the Ashfield food festival.
It was a brilliant day with lots of different vendors with a wide range of different foods to try.
That didn’t stop one of our residents from popping in the shop to get some classic snacks.
