Monday 27th

Riversway in Bristol

Rita enjoyed a pamper with Lisa. She had her hair washed and set. After she enjoyed a cake and coffee whilst they listened to some music. Rita enjoyed her hair being done.

Stoneygate Road in Leicester

We took a nice trip to a local cafe to enjoy a wonderful meal! We all had a brilliant time and the food was lovely!  

Oakdene in Mansfield

We had a nice little shopping trip, grabbing a few essentials and a few treats. It was a lovely afternoon out of the home.  

Tuesday 28th

 

Oakdene in Mansfield

We had a trip out to enjoy some lunch. We all had a wonderful time sitting and chatting with one another. The lunch was outstanding, and the puddings even better!  

Riversway in Bristol

With the weather being much warmer recently, we have been making the most of it. We enjoyed some ice cream in the garden whilst listening to music. We all had a lovely fun afternoon.

Clarence House in Horncastle

The residents spend some time with their budgies 🥰 They bring so much joy to our residents, so lovely to see the smiles!  

Wednesday 29th

 

Riversway in Bristol

We were very pleased to welcome back Frankie to Riversway. We had a wonderful afternoon singing lots of old songs and enjoying ice cream. David also enjoyed the music we sat in the corridor and listened from a distance whilst enjoying an ice cream.   Winifred celebrated her 90th birthday on Saturday, the 25th of June. She had a wonderful afternoon with her family, who came in for cakes and tea in the activity room. She received lots of lovely gifts from her family and friends, including a box of flowers and some chocolates from everyone at Riversway. We decorated her room with balloons and banners to celebrate the big day!

We had another walk in the sun with the dog! Such a nice way to spend part of the afternoon!   Here are some more pictures we found from our trip to Crich Tramway Village last May. It was such a brilliant day out, we all dentally would like to go again.    

Thursday 30th

 

Oakdene in Mansfield

You all know how much we love bowling, and now the sun is out it’s time we got our own set back out and set up in the garden. We had some fun with a small game of noughts and crosses.

Winnie enjoyed spending some time with Marlo. He looks quite comfy and Winnie was happy he was there with her.  

Friday 1st

 

Riversway in Bristol

We were lucky to have a lady called Nicola to join us, from a company called Alive. She has offered some free chair exercise classes. We all had lots of fun and after all our hard work we enjoyed a fresh cream bun with a juice.  

Oakdene in Mansfield

We had a lovely afternoon with different activities including games of Frustration, Dominos and Card. We also spent some time looking through and sorting a collage book.

Saturday 2nd

 

Riversway in Bristol

Stella enjoyed a pamper from Milly. She had her nails painted and loved the selection of colours we had on offer. Milly played some Connie Francis for Stella, and she enjoyed a nice cake and cuppa while being pampered.

Sunday 3rd

 

Riversway in Bristol

We made some delicious raspberry and chocolate ice cream. We all enjoyed some after with a cornet and a flake. It was just what we needed on a very hot day!

We had a lovely walk to the local shop for our one-to-one session. We picked up some bits we needed for the home along with some treats.
