“My mum has been a resident for 6 months and describes Meadow View as home and settled within a few weeks, thanks to the Manager and staff. I am a regular weekly visitor to the home. During the pandemic, I have visited via window, pod, rooms and garden as lockdown has improved. Mum is happy and well cared for. Lastly, the Manager, admin and caring staff are very helpful and friendly.”
Oakdene in Mansfield

Football Fever is sweeping the home and with another win by England yesterday the residents and staff spirits are really high!
We all got in the spirit with wigs, hats and horns to toot when England scored! It was such a fun afternoon!

“I visited Kirklees today for a visit. I was very impressed with their Covid-19 policies and procedures for visitors. The care home also has a visitors pod in the garden which is purpose-built. The home has adapted well in the face of Covid-19. The individual I took to view the home also described the Manager as very friendly.

A massive well done to Vicky, Julie, Tanya and David (the kitchen staff) and all the other staff members at the Old Rectory in Stickney for achieving a 5 Food Hygiene Rating from Environmental Health.

We got together to make these beautiful flower wreaths from sticky felt flowers! They will look so beautiful hung on the doors. Plus, this was a brilliant time to enjoy a cake and a cuppa too!
We spent some time together in the garden making our England flags for the match today!

Kirklees in Grimsby
Mitch, the manager at Kirklees in Grimsby would like to give a massive shout out and a big well done to all the staff at the home!
They had their unannounced Infection control visit by N E Lincs CCG and received 100% on Hand Hygiene, 100% PPE and 95% for the environment!
She says that “the staff have been fantastic and have done an amazing job during this pandemic and have worked incredibly hard to keep everyone safe!”
Well Done Kirklees, on such an outstanding achievement!
