Monday 1st

 

Glengarriff House

Another fantastic Halloween at Glengarriff House this year!  

Riversway in Bristol

We handed out these little mini doughnuts around the home! Everyone said they were delicious!  

Kirklees in Grimsby

We enjoyed the “Kirklees Halloween Karaoke and Buffet Night!” Everyone got involved with baking and having a sing-song on the Karaoke machine! It was a fun night!  

Oakdene in Mansfield

Oakdene in Mansfield received another amazing review from a recent visit to the home! Well done to the whole team for your continued hard work!   The residents have been hard at work growing their own Pumpkins, and now it is time to carve them! Everyone had a brilliant time making their own designs and carving them out! ​

HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY to our lovely Fiona she had a fabulous day being spoilt by friends and family followed by a party in the evening

Bus Trip out to Doddington Hall for some pumpkin picking and a lovely cup of tea and cake.  

The Mount in Barrow upon Humber

These fantastic pumpkins have been carved by our lovely residents! We think they look absolutely amazing, such brilliant work team!  

Riversway in Bristol

Halloween was a lot of fun this year, and with all the hard work the residents put in we thought it would be nice to give them a treat….. or trick. We popped round to see everyone with our Trick or Treat box! We had lots of fun with our witches hats and little props and everyone enjoyed their treats!   David celebrated his 68th birthday on 30th October. We held a little pub club party for him. We enjoyed looking at the old CD collections and playing our favourite music, we decorated David’s room and he had a card and gift from everyone. He really enjoyed his afternoon!

Beechlands in Leicester

We hope that you all had a wonderful Halloween last weekend. They had a brilliant time making treats, getting dressed up and having a Halloween party!  

Phoenix Park (Hilltop) in Scunthorpe

We saw Halloween in style with a fancy Halloween themed tea party! Everyone had such a lovely time!  

South Street in Sheringham

The residents had some Halloween fun and made these amazing Pumpkin Carvings, that we think look amazing!  

Wednesday 3rd

 

Riversway in Bristol

Riversway Cinema was back, and this time with a big screen! A big Riversway thank you to, Darren our maintenance man who very kindly set up the big projector so we were able to have a proper Cinema experience. We watch Paddington, and enjoyed an ice cream!   The Riversway Pub Club is just something we keep enjoying each and every time! We sang songs, had refreshments and played games! All while enjoying some fantastic company!

Oakdene in Mansfield

The residents at Oakdene in Mansfield had an amazing Halloween Weekend with fancy dress, spooky buffet and carving their own homegrown pumpkins! It was a brilliant weekend and everyone had such an amazing time!   Oakdene in Mansfield received this brilliant review from a family member of a resident. So nice to hear such wonderful things about the staff and the team, you are all doing an amazing job!

We had a brilliant Halloween Party, with a fancy dress and trick and treats! The residents and staff would like to say a massive Thank You and give a shout out to Becky Smith, a staff member, who spent their day off making cakes for the residents Halloween Party and to Charlie, a senior carer, who put on such an amazing party!

We had so much fun at this years Halloween party! We made themed foods and everyone got dressed up for the event!

A morning of singing and chair dancing! We all had so much fun. It gave us a lovely start to the day!

It was Spooky Time as we celebrated Halloween with a fancy dress party! Everyone had so much fun dressing up, singing, dancing and enjoying the Halloween themed Buffet!

We saw Halloween night in with a BIG BOO! We enjoyed a Halloween party, with food, special cakes and good company!  

Friday 5th

Last week we had a wonderful afternoon tea at grandmas kitchen in Pinxton the food was delicious! We will definitely be visiting again

The residents banded together to create some amazing Pumpkin Carvings this Halloween! We think we created some amazing designs, well done everyone!

Halloween fun, as the residents worked hard to create some amazing pumpkin carvings! Some very interesting and different designs this year, brilliant work everyone!

These lovely residents had a wonderful time carving out these pumpkins for Halloween this weekend! They look brilliant. Well done, ladies!  

Riversway in Bristol

Two of our lovely ladies enjoyed a glass of fizz and some snacks while they put the world to rights! They had the glorious sunshine from the conservatory windows and were both admiring our beautiful garden at Riversway!   We had so much fun making these beautiful firework paintings to celebrate Bonfire Night today. We used empty toilet roll holders that we cut to make these effects! We enjoyed a lovely cake and cuppa after our hard work!

These amazing Jack O’ Lanterns were created by the talented residents! We especially like the Oogie Boogie and Micky ones! Well Done team!  

Saturday 6th

We finished off their Halloween fun by playing around with some silly filters! All the residents thought these were brilliant and had a good laugh.  

Riversway in Bristol

Riversway Book Club time! Not only do you get a book, but you also get a cake too and of course, a cuppa! What’s better than a good book cup of tea and a cake? That’s right we can’t think of anything either!

Ashlands in Leicester

We had a lovely lady called Sally visit with her animals. We had some cute fluffy guys, a dude in a half shell and a giant creepy crawly for everyone to get equated with. The residents absolutely loved it, and had a brilliant time!  

Sunday 7th

 

Oakdene in Mansfield

We had a “Goodbye Buffet” for one of the residents. He is going to be missed by many!  

Riversway in Bristol

David enjoyed a game of bottle cap darts with Lisa! When the game ended and he counted up the scores, he was surprised to find out that he had won! They also go to enjoy a coffee and cake whilst they played!   We had an Oomph session with Ashleigh and Sue! There was lots of giggles and fun, as usual. We all felt very energised after and enjoyed a cool refreshment! —
