Oval House provides for 22 clients whose needs are based on their mental health with a view to preparing them for a future living in the community.
Accommodation provided is finished to a luxury standard and are all single rooms.

Accommodation
Oval House offers single-room accommodation of a good size. All rooms have a sink and medication cabinet in the room to promote independence.
Rooms are arranged into small flats comprised of between 4-6 bedrooms. All flats have a luxury kitchen dinner, and bathrooms finished to a high standard throughout.

The service at Oval House enables clients to receive support with their mental health needs.
Staff offer support to build independent living skills with a view to independent living within the community. We aim to help clients achieve their goals and ambitions.
Activities
Clients will be encouraged to pursue their chosen activities and will be supported to do so.
Oval House staff will support clients in learning everyday living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and budgeting, with the aim of preparing clients to lead fulfilling lives when living in the community.
Location
Oval House is based in Braunstone, which is a town in Leicester, approximately 3 miles to the town centre but a very short walk to a main and regular bus route.
There is good access to local shops and Oval House is on the doorstep of Braunstone Park and local to Western Park, so there is plenty of opportunities for fresh air and exercise.
Prospective Clients
Prospective clients of Oval House will be encouraged to come and view all vacant accommodations.
In advance of a place being offered an individual assessment will take place to ensure the client’s needs and choices can be met and discuss how this will be structured.
The emphasis is on the involvement of the individual to focus on developing their personal skills and regaining a sense of purpose and independence.

Oval House employs approximately 20 staff all of which are trained in key aspects of support to ensure the provision of a safe, quality service to our client group.
Staff at Oval House are trained in specialist subjects, specifically aimed at supporting client’s needs.
