A bespoke, newly built nursing home in the popular district of Shirley, Solihull with smart living accommodation for 60 people. This brand new home has been designed and built by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and operated by Prime Life,  for local residents to feel part of their community.

Tanworth Court is able to support people in both a residential capacity and for those with additional nursing needs. The home itself has 4 separate bedroom wings stretching out from a central atrium downstairs and an airy gallery landing upstairs.

The central atrium features a modern hair salon and beauty room, an open plan Bistro for informal dining and the main dining area for residents to enjoy. It is envisaged that friends and family plus members of the local community will use this area to meet and enjoy the facilities together.

The bedrooms are all spacious, wheelchair accessible and have their own ‘front door’. The rooms are fitted with en-suite bathrooms including accessible showers and high-quality furniture including high/low beds for additional safety. The décor is classic using modern colours with flat-screen TV’s provided as standard in all rooms. Lower level windows provide views to the outside, with many rooms overlooking the lovely garden.

Tanworth Court is designed to provide accommodation for those people who wish to maintain their independence whilst also offering a higher level of assistance should it be required.

Generous individualised corridors lead to seating areas and lounges where residents can sit and chat, entertain their families and friends or just rest a while watching the world go by. Lounges include fully fitted tea bar areas, comfy seating, flat-screen TV’s and again full-length windows to bring the outside in.

Secure, landscaped gardens provide a relaxing space for both residents and their families to spend time together in the fresh air, making us of the plentiful all-weather garden furniture.
