Ragley Hall near the home had an air show at the weekend. The residents were able to enjoy the spectacular Red Arrow display and the beautiful hot air balloons from the Garden.

A massive thank you to first art for arranging a lovely pop up picnic within our local community. We all had such a wonderful day listening and dancing to the brass band, Symone with her fantastic 50 hula hoops at once, Teddy & Otto creature encounter. Followed by a stop at our local for a drink to finish off our day
We would also like to thank toastie shack South Normanton for our free toasties and chips and the organisers who were handing out free tea and coffee to everyone

The residents celebrated and remembered those who took part in D-Day at the weekend with a special tea!

Jacqueline celebrated her 90th birthday on 5th June! We had a lovely afternoon tea party for her. She loved the gift and card we gave her as she absolutely loves horses. Happy Birthday, Jacqueline!
As the sun was shining we decided to enjoy our Riversway Pub Club in the garden.
We enjoyed lots of music taking it in turns to pick songs!

Huge Thanks to Michael one of the Bus drivers for Prime Life who took 5 of our residents and a staff member out to enjoy a lovely day at Matlock Farm Park. The residents have thoroughly enjoyed themselves seeing the animals and enjoying being out and about. They enjoyed a picnic and called for an Mc Flurry on the way home.

We made the most of the nice weather and had bingo in the garden, We had a lovely afternoon and at halftime, we had delicious ice cream.
All the residents also had a raffle ticket and each won a nice prize to take back!

We had our first trip to the seaside this year! We enjoyed some fun on the beach, ice cream and good old classic, fish and chips.

We had some fun with bubbles whilst enjoying the lovely weather we have been having.

We popped them in her window to make sure they get enough light and to have a nice view of them.
We took the book club trolly around to the residents, and as we went around we had a few goodies to give out!
Everyone also enjoyed a slice of cake from the book club trolly!
