“My friend did not want to go into a care home but the staff at Meadow View have been so friendly and helpful that she settled very quickly and was more than happy to stay. Nothing was too much trouble it was lovely being able to actually visit her today for the first time. The place was very clean and the Covid rules strictly followed. One of the main things I have appreciated is the excellent communication with the home.”

Yesterday for deaf awareness week some of the residents at Stoneygate Road in Leicester learnt how to sign their names!

Happy 60th Birthday Eva! ? Eva celebrated her 60th birthday on 19th April we had a lovely party with cake, cards and gifts from everyone, that she loved!

The residents at Meadow View in Alcester enjoyed a spot of Maypole Dancing this May Day weekend!
Looks like everyone had a lot of fun, dancing around the maypole to some music!

We celebrated the Queen’s birthday last month with the rest of the nation, with delicious cream tea, and old royal songs! Everyone had a brilliant afternoon ??

Lutterworth Country House in Lutterworth
Over in Lutterworth at Lutterworth Country House the residents enjoyed a canvas painting and colouring session and also enjoyed an afternoon of Bingo.

Stoneygate Road in Leicester
Last week Stoneygate Road in Leicester discussed how going for walks can have a calming effect on their therapy session.
They went to Victoria Park and took some lovely photos of the trees in bloom. It really lifted everyone’s spirits to be out and about getting some fresh air.

Meadow View in Alcester
Primelife is supporting the Government’s vaccination programme.
Wendy from Meadow View in #Alcester had their 2nd COVID-19 vaccination and wanted to share her thoughts on the experience.
“I am very pleased to say I received my second Vaccine yesterday. Working as the administrator at Meadow View Care Centre, I have to say I am very privileged of having my two vaccines earlier than others in my age bracket, helping to keep the care home, family and friends safe from Covid-19.”

“I have a grandparent in Holmes Court and I cannot thank and praise the staff and manager for their hard work, especially in the circumstances surrounding Covid. The staff all wear the correct PPE and I have witnessed them all sanitise their hands regularly. I would definitely recommend this home.”
