Celebrating in the beautiful sunny weather, friends and family of the residents of Clarence House flocked in in-style to a 1940’s Summer Blitz garden party.
With live entertainment from a 1940s singer and classic cream teas the guests were transported back in time. Residents dressed in 1940’s clothing and ran a Tombola Stall, Raffle, Cake stall, sweets in the jar competition and two games of guess the name of the teddy.
It was a great afternoon, with many new faces coming to the home for the first time to join in the fun. Residents raised a massive £400 – something everyone involved should feel pleased and proud about.
The money raised will be used towards residents’ holidays and days outs as well as some new games and activities for the garden to help make the most of the summer weather.
