The Knight Frank Healthcare Heroes campaign was created by Julian Evans, Health of Healthcare at Knight Frank, to honor the heroes of the care sector. From frontline staff to a range of specialisms within the industry; the healthcare heroes awards is putting a spotlight on some of the heroes that have gone above and beyond, and even further during the year of 2020, and throughout the pandemic.
We are extremely proud to announce two of PrimeLife’s employees were nominated and received healthcare hero awards!
Delfi Goodings, manager at Brackendale House, was nominated for having “been the most tremendous support to her clients and staff team, as well as the company. When this pandemic began, it put real pressure on the staffing resource at this small home. Delphi picked up any shift cover herself, and volunteered to live in at the home for the duration of the lockdown, self isolating with her clients and not seeing family or friends. A truly outstanding and selfless personal effort, showing her dedication to the service.”

Elizabeth Eaton, care assistant at Ashlands, was nominated “for her stand out efforts during this pandemic to support the clients, relatives and company through her dedication to all. A very popular individual with the clients, who has made stand out efforts to support people during the lockdown, especially in Leicester where it has been extended. Liz has stayed at the home when clients are unable to have visitors, comforting people when their families are unable to do so, and often doing so outside of her shift. She has regularly stepped in to cover shifts when other staff members have to be off either self isolating or shielding, and sometimes working seven days a week if required. She has been an absolute star, and thoroughly deserves special recognition.”
