Old Station Close in Shepshed
We had a week-long International Women’s Day here at Old Station Close. Our ladies celebrated with a party, a pamper experience with foot soaks and relaxing face masks, a zen session, games and flower arranging. It was such a lovely week celebrating the wonderful ladies in our home.Riversway in Bristol
We had a lovely sing-song on Saturday with some of our residents. We enjoyed lots of refreshments and sang along to lots of old music. We all held hands and had a wonderful afternoon together!Clarence House and the Netherlands in Horncastle

We took a trip to the York Castle Museum. They had plenty of Victorian area themed attractions for us to look at and explore and the old Prisons were so much fun to wander around and learn about.Wednesday 16th

David enjoyed playing a game of pairs on the giant iPad! We then enjoyed a nice cuppa and a chat after the game.We handed out some locket cakes and a few teddies to the residents as a little treat for the day!

Today is Social Care Day of Remember and Reflection and the residents coloured in some posters whilst we remembered those who helped us during the pandemic and to remind us of those who we lost.Westerlands in East Riding

We enjoyed a lovely trip out to Bradgate Park for a nice wander around and sightseeing. We got to see some lovely pieces of nature, including some deer. After all our walking, we decided to enjoy a nice pub lunch. It was such a wonderful day.Oakdene in Mansfield

We made some lovely reflective butterflies. We created the butterfly shape out of cardboard then added cut CDs to the butterfly to make the reflective effect.Meadow View in Alcester
